A quick way to find out how much you know about the English language
The TOEIC® Test is one of the most popular tests used by people looking to study abroad, learn a second language, or improve their skills. This free online test measures your ability to understand spoken and written Japanese. You don’t even need to download anything; just take it whenever you want.
There are four sections in total: listening comprehension, reading comprehension, speaking, and writing. Each section contains 50 questions, and there are five attempts per question. Your score is based on the number of correct answers you give. If you answer incorrectly, you’ll see the explanation for why you’re wrong.
Each section takes around 10 minutes to complete, and you can do each section separately or together. Once you’ve finished, you’ll receive a percentile rank for your overall score.
You can track your progress over time, too. When you log into your account, you’ll see your current score compared to your previous scores. If you want to compare yourself against others, you can use our international rankings.
If you want to practice speaking, you can listen to native speakers answering real questions. There are over 5 million audio clips available, covering topics like travel, food, shopping, sports, technology, education, health, work, and many more.
To help you prepare for the exam, we offer a variety of resources, including lessons, flashcards, quizzes, and more. We also provide information about where you can take the test, what the cost is, and how long it takes to pass.
What makes the TOEIC® test different from other English proficiency exams is that it focuses on practical knowledge rather than vocabulary lists. It covers grammar rules that apply across multiple situations, such as how to correctly conjugate verbs and write formal letters.
TOEIC® (Test of English for International Communication)
The TOEIC® exam tests you on how well you speak, listen, read, write, and analyze written communication. You’ll take four sections—listening, reading, speaking, and writing—and each section contains 50 multiple-choice questions. Each question has four possible choices, and there are no wrong answers. If you answer one correctly, you move on to the next question. If you don’t know the correct answer, you can select “I Don’t Know.” There are no penalties for incorrect answers.
You must score at least 550 points out of a maximum of 800 points to pass the test. Passing scores range from 500 to 750 points based on the difficulty level of the exam. A passing score is required to receive a certificate indicating your ability to communicate effectively in English.

In addition to the TOEIC, candidates must pass either the Uniform Securities Identification Standards (USIS), the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination (UIALEX), or the Uniform Practice Examination (UPEX). Candidates are allowed to sit for each exam once every three years.
According to the announcement, the government hopes to increase awareness about the importance of financial literacy among Singaporeans. In 2016, there were 2,842 applications for the CPFA program, up from just 543 in 2011.
TOEIC Exam
The most common mistake I see people make on the TOEIC test is using the wrong form of the verb “to be.” The correct answer is “to be” rather than “%title%.” If you use the incorrect form, it could cost you points on the exam.
Here are some examples of the correct usage:
1. He is very smart.
2. She is tall.
3. They are good friends.
4. We are having a party tomorrow.
5. You must be tired.
